Dan’s originally from Loughborough where he began his radio career at his college radio station. Realising radio was his first love he did some work experience at Choice in Birmingham before landing his own weekly show.

The temptation of combining radio and a warm climate appealed so much that he joined the launch team of Radio 1 UAE in Dubai where he worked for a year before returning to Galaxy North East. It was a lot colder in the North East so after five months he returned to Dubai where he presented for another three years. He is credited for introducing RnB to the Dubai region after he championed it on his show!

While out there Dan also presented the Twix Mix Countdown on TV across the Middle East and North Africa.

In 2003 Dan tried England again and this time liked it! He was signed to Galaxy Birmingham’s evening show and two years later moved to the Breakfast Show where he’s been ever since.

When Dan’s not presenting he’s a huge sports fan and is a long suffering Leicester City season ticket – he was even their mascot when he was nine. He is also a Club DJ playing house music every weekend. download to print dan's bio as a pdf file (3.0MB)
