Matt Wilkinson is a presenter on London's Heart. Matt presents the weekend breakfast shows and deputises on all shows broadcast both on London and on the Heart network of radio stations nationwide. Matt can also be heard on over 140 radio stations nationwide when he covers the UK's most listened to chart show The Big Top 40.

At 27, Matt is one of the leading talents in commercial radio, having risen through the ranks in a career spanning over 12 years that has seen him broadcast on a variety of stations throughout the country.

Matt first got involved in commercial radio in 1998. His major break came in early 2005 when he was moved form one overnight show a week to presenting Drivetime on Century FM in North East England. After a year he moved to host evenings on Heart in the West Midlands before being poached by Trent FM in Nottingham where he succeeded in increasing the afternoon figures by fifty per cent.

Matt has a degree in Psychology, is a keen cyclist and amateur chef (note the word amateur!), he is also not ashamed to be a fan of many reality shows - Matt has in fact made more than one guest appearance on the X Factor, though thankfully no singing was involved!
