David Paul, known simply as ‘DP’ is a handsome, experienced and talented television presenter with a gentle Dublin accent.


DP has presented some of MTV’s most popular shows, including TRL, Screenplay, MTV News and Overdrive. DP recently had the opportunity of a lifetime to travel through the States in a convertible presenting a travelogue for Yahoo.com. He is popular with Challenge having recently been the presenter for Showbiz Darts and Roller Jam which were simultaneously transmitted in the States. He is currently the host for the live 3-hour daily show Sky Poker, The Open involving interviewing celebrity guests, combining his effusive personality with informative presenting.

Live stage shows are a favourite for DP having used his music knowledge to host stages and interview bands at The Oxygen Festival, Meteor Irish Music Awards and V Festival. He is no stranger to working ‘behind the scenes’, he shot and produced the pilot for ‘IRL’ as well as various continuity links.

Graduating from Trinity College Dublin with a Masters in Business, Economics and Social Studies, he is extremely intelligent and quick witted.

Prior to presenting work DP started and headed the European Youth Parliament for Ireland where he represented Ireland parliamentary sessions across Europe.

His other interests range from architecture and aviation to psychology and sailing as well as sport, particularly tennis, squash and is also a huge fanatic of motor racing. DP is an all-rounded, clever, experienced presenter who will become a very familiar face in no time.
