He is one of BBC Wales' most experienced and high profile news and sport presenters. Jason is currently hosting his own show for Radio Wales daily between 12-2pm, he is going to be fronting Sport Wales and all Rugby Club Specials for BBC One Wales. Jason has also fronted Wales Today, live football and the very popular international rugby union programme Scrum V, rugby’s version of Match Of The Day.
Recently, Jason hosted the career defining fight between Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins live from Las Vegas for the BBC network as well as introducing BBC Wales’ special on the FA Cup Final. Jason also regularly hosts the annual BBC Wales Children In Need output and the BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year.
Other credits to Jason's name include the news programme, Good Morning Wales and a team captain on the light hearted sports quiz Extra Time.
Not content with just presenting, Jason made his second acting appearance in the 2007 Dr Who Christmas Special for BBC One starring alongside David Tennant and Kylie Minogue, playing the role of the TV news anchor.
Before becoming a presenter, Jason was a reporter on Wales Today. He's reported from many countries including Australia, when Jason was the face of BBC Wales' Commonwealth Games coverage. Closer to home, Jason was a TV reporter, and reported on some of the biggest news stories including the Queen's Official Opening of the National Assembly for Wales' new building.
Jason is a superbly articulate after dinner speaker and is now in demand by many businesses and sporting organisations who want an accomplished host for their events. He's the perfect person to introduce award ceremonies and corporate team building events.
As well as being authoritative, attractive and delightful to work with he is also extremely intelligent with a BA from the University of Wales in Welsh and Politics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children Lilly, Max, and Poppy.
